baphnediaI've tried the workaround avatar thing for Paradice Net. What I might need to do instead is to just ask users to send me their avatars or something and I'll upload and link them myself. Oi. I'm really just loving this job - I'm still trying to get the bugs and kinks worked out of the site, one at a time. Speaking of which, there'll be a massive update and overhaul done (it'll look about the same when I'm done).
Next up, I got my room painted today. That was today's project, and it's done. The evil paint smell is even gone. Now, it's just time to go to bed and prepare for tomorrow. I got more phone calls tonight than I was really prepared for. One of them was from a chick that I am kind towards, but I already am overloaded with active friends. Everyday it seems I spurn somebody because for every event I go to, I've said 'no' to several others. I still try to keep it balanced though, at least with those I feel comfortable with.
Anyhow, who are my friends to criticize me of my choices of who I spend time with? My friends. That's who they are. Not in a bad way - as I criticize them right back (or at interavals). We keep it constructive all the time too.
Also, I'll be posting in a few days my rules for running a message board RP soon, as I flesh out a few things in the campaign setting I've been writing for several years. It'll also be the basis for more fiction from me. Anyhow, Bewere of Ghulidalen will probably start June-ish as I get stuff together and lined up. I haven't run forum RP before (participated a few times though).
