Malicious Linking...

Is anyone (Jakkal, Syke) familiar with how to prevent malicious linkers and bandwidth bombers from using images you host to kill your monthly bandwidth? It's an issue that I know I'm not the only guy out there that suffers. If you need any clarification or whatnot, feel free to ask for it.
