Real Life Idiocy

A girl walks into the internet cafe. She asks me to plug her laptop into the AC outlet behind me.
"Cool"
I do so, and her laptop gets power.
She then tells me that she thinks that I plugged her into the wrong outlet.
Apparently, her laptop is getting AC power, but no internet.
So, she asks me to plug her into another outlet. I do so.
She complains that she is still not getting any internet from where she is plugged in - that I must've plugger her in wrong.
(you can go there too...)
I ask her if her laptop is showing that it is getting AC power. She says 'yes'.
I tell her that that's all she gets from an AC power outlet.
She disagrees, stating that when she was here yesterday, she got internet from the outlet too.
(adding to this that I did something wrong, when I plugged her in)
(eventhough internet here is wireless)... >.
