Pink? PINK?
In Nazi America, Pink?
Anyway, I have much to rant about... but one thing is clear - we will be going to war with Iran. North Korea may agree to give up their nuke weapons program in exchange for energy because they know that they're also next.
Look at the vitrol coming from Capitol Hill about Iran, growing America's Army by another 65,000 troops over the next five years (making permanent a 'temporary' soldier increase and adding 7,000 soldiers per year). This isn't a 'we're leaving Iraq, and if we are we'll behave' mentality.
Following what is taking place in Congress (debating for hours on a non-binding statement that reads: YOU SUCK) instead of doing something. Yeah. Most of them are in on it behind closed doors if you ask me.
I'm watching my country almost become a part of history normally kept for Caesars and Czars. Happy Valentines Day to someone - I'm celebrating 4 years since I hit the ground in Iraq. At least there we're not losing much (in comparison to what two more deployments would look like for our overstressed and overused forces). Hell, I didn't even know what 100-hour work weeks looked like in the US. In a 'non-deployable' job I have no life whatsoever. I am denied the freedom to even have a girlfriend because I have no time to do anything with her (had I one).
Sorry if this isn't a part of your valentine's day celebrations... it just irks me to no end.
