Dragon Dreams
Dec. 13th, 2006 08:01 am...I'm borrowing this from the forum (but I'm also copying myself... so pbbbbt)
It may not be odd, but, last night I had a memorable dream, waking up in my downstairs office, I was me, if only a 10ft long version. The first thing I did was put a hole into the inflatable mattress I'm sleeping on with a wayward claw, before quietly relocating by the fireplace upstairs, beneath a dozen or so dragon statuettes. Mr Wizard quietly followed, taking note of at least my tail, and faded.
Morning came, and the recruiters showed up to find out why I wasn't at work. They banged on the door a few times, before moving into the apartment, perhaps afraid that I'd kicked the can. Riley was first into the room upstairs, where much aweful gaping took place. I carefully walked up, sniffed then paused before grabbing his combat patch (the same as mine) off of his uniform. I held the patch over my right shoulder, in an effort to let them know who I was, then I headed back towards the fireplace before taking a 2nd story exit out of the window, with the intent to fly to a warmer place (because I am a Lee-zard).
Then I woke up. Or, from another perspective, went back to sleep to pretend being human for another day. In good news, I'm getting more sleep and feeling better, but Silo 17, Three Worlds, Ultima Online, Secondlife and another game I'm developing are taking a backseat to rest.
