Report from the Losers:
Oct. 9th, 2006 12:44 pmAs I stated yesterday - I did some travelling... and took into consideration of what happened in WWII to the losers. After picking the brain of one loser (who managed to survive over 60 years), and ZOMG is still a Nazi! ... I learned what to do in the event that the United States becomes as evil as they were. And live (while serving as a soldier)
What it boils down to is this: There is a growing sentiment that a call to action is needed, because we live in a country where torture is legal, and recent regulation (from last year) allowed the generals in charge of one service, to be put in charge of service members from other services... so, if a Navy admiral is being a problem for the administration, the administration can place him wherever they 'need' to, and stick an Army general in charge of the admiral's old fleet. The next step (in the works now), is to have a group of qualified civilians with the same power, that they can be placed in charge of military units.
The practice of using a group of civilians to run military units was used in a tight group in WWII. It was known as the Gestapo. So, while our gov't is throwing around the fact that anybody that isn't a friend must be fascist, we might need to look at them and tell them 'say no to drugs'.
The media is bought out - that much is obvious, because the media is more concerned about Foley than legalizing torture. Oh, and with any luck, I'll 'disappear' permanently, because I'm a 'terrorist' and an ex-patriot. This government already drove me to the point of suicide twice, and while I've decided to live, there may come a time where I decide to go out with a BOOM (namely the organizational destruction of the corruption of our own goverment). 99.8% of us live in fear of our own government (including me), and I'd rather conquer that fear and facilitate change.
However, the brutality excercised by the goverment makes me wonder if we're going to be as brutal as any Russian organization. How, once we've used brutal force, do we scale back the use of force (and the force used against us by our perceived enemies), to something peaceful? And civilized?
Anyhow, I can only get so brutal with words, but Soreth and Elynne helped me realize (rather painfully, I'll admit - I'm still working on getting fucked sideways, btw), that responsibility in the use of language is one area that I'll have to pay attention to - because I might be perceived as no better than a fundie Christian preacher (or fundie Islamic preacher) calling for the deaths of any who aren't a member of their own religion.
Furthermore, I might motivate others to take my words into literal action - which, in the case of trouncing all over someone else's blog, I could argue that I'm not personally responsible for the actions of others (which may hold up in court, at least, most rappers have been successful with this argument so far), but, it would still pain me, being a part of a sequence of events, irregardless of the court's findings.
I'm contemplating two points now:
Is it time for the US to have a civil war?
Would I be a solution that is worse than the problem?
- I'll use Hitler as an example here... Germany was sucking after WWI. They were in a horrible depression, trying to rebuild and make reparations to the rest of Europe, and most other countries placed zero value in german money, because Germany had no gold to back it up with (where the rest of the world was operating on the Gold Standard). Hitler got himself elected, and Germans became very prosperous in 3 short years (1933-1936), where he shaped a battered Germany into an economic superpower. But, he also went beyond that. He contributed to the cause of WWII, and genocide, and while he wasn't nearly as deadly as Stalin or Lenin (I am beginning to think Hitler didn't want the world, but just Europe - whereas Stalin and Lenin wanted to start with world domination), Hitler was a solution to an economic crises in Germany that was worse than the problem.
