Now I know why I was 26 going on 66...
Feb. 10th, 2009 01:25 pmOne word. Medications.
When I am not medicated, while I sleep, fitfully, my back, neck and various joints in my body don't complain to me all day long. My body finds a (rather) healthy way to sleep, and I sorta sleep, being at the mercy of my dreams.
When I'm on the medication, it doesn't matter what position I am in, and thus I injure myself in my sleep. The more medication I'm on, the less effort my body takes to finding a healthy posture while sleeping. Then I wake up (like I did this afternoon) with plenty of pain to tell about it.
What a friggin tradeoff this is...
