A note on determination
Apr. 22nd, 2007 11:36 amLast week, a good friend of mine (who sometimes goes by Makato worked over the telephone on the background image for my Myspace page while going through a stroke. She continued working on the artwork until it was done - sent it to me, and sometime later went to the hospital. Where she found out that she'd had a stroke. That determination to get stuff done irregardless of the fact that you just might be dying presently is downright inspiring.
Having someone willing to die for you feels both like a great compliment (although, it can also be unsettling - depending on the context). All the hard work that she does is now even more special to me. I'd be honored to have her taking stills and/or filming the concert on Cinco De Mayo in Glendale, AZ.
