So far in 2009, I've managed to miss every party perfectly. This is really starting to get under my nerves, as I'm now at the point where I don't even know how to fix it. Not that I go to a lot of parties in the first place; but because there was a last-minute meltdown in transportation, the release party for the Portland Outsider went on without me, and the many folks who invited may have gone, and I might hear about it sooner or later.
Anywho, I'm wondering now how and if I should even try to make it to anything, since my time seems to betrothed to who I live with (which is good, from a psychological standpoint - my house mates keep me grounded - but at what cost to what I want to do?
I just got the first big draft done of a statement describing my situation to the VA (you know, why they shouldn't be reducing my disability, and the like). So, hopefully by Sunday I'll have the advice of the house mates on it before I send it off to my legal defense.
