Ahh... Back Home is Me.
Feb. 21st, 2005 02:42 pmI'm back in the wonderful South. Bullet comments for the past two weeks to follow.
-Met with a lot of old friends, a rarity when I take leave, in many cities.
-Met Soreth in B'ham
-Went to PRWeb in Ferndale, got free lunch.
-Met Purrzah, Briemh, Digi, Da'al, and and and more scalies in Everett
-Ressurrected the Paradice Roleplaying System (currently I'm writing the rules on Paradice Net) They are located in the forum, viewable only to registered users, who have logged in.
-Got a demo disk from Allen Peterson, an artist and guitarist who's helped me out from time to time - now to return the favor(s).
-Got a Seattle Dragons t-shirt (thanks Bri!)
-Got rid of a few CDs... the CDs were free, autographs are $10 + S&H!
-Forgot to go to Seattle.
-Spent a couple days in Tacoma, saw Sideways.
-Built a park bench.
-Went to Portland - jammed with my electric violin for an hour or so at CD Baby.
-Spent a couple days (that went quick) with friends.
-Played Munchkin.
-Rescued my Xbox
Outstanding issues:
Greatimp (who may not be an LJ user yet) captured my xbox, it's controllers and assorted cords (with Halo) two years ago. At that time, he also captured two miniature pewter dragons. A rescue was staged on Sunday, the 20th of February, 2005, which resulted in the Xbox going back to it's loving owner. This owner now has Halo 2 too. However, the dragons were nowhere to be found, and are somewhere, in the Imp's captivity.
For those who I mentioned the Paradice Roleplaying System to, I am slowly posting the rules (typing a page or two per day or something). To my knowledge, there will be a group in Everett WA, Portland OR, and Augusta, GA. Macon, GA is also another possibility. Anyhow, coordination and all that will take place on Paradice Net as well as modifying the rules and so on and so forth.
I forgot to write fiction while I was on leave. I will return to my irregularily scheduled fiction at some point or another.
Now that I've figured out how to use my cell effectively, I may actually be able to start getting some friends in touch with each other. Yay. Oh - and Julian Temptest, if you so happen to read this, I need your phone number.
This weekend, I'll be attending Garmageddon in Augusta, GA. Is anyone else coming?
