Defining roles and other things...
Jun. 22nd, 2006 12:49 pmI'm just working, for the most part. I'm spending a couple hours a night just answering email and slowing down from the workplace. I still don't know what I'm going to do with my career. Some of my family have far worse mental conditions than cyclothymia, but they aren't on medications nor in institutions. It was a change in their environment that helped them out.
I'm just in-between a few different things... so many options, so little time to even attempt to evaluate and analyze what doors are there for me. Some people want me out of the Army strongly enough to destroy my career. Some want me to stay in just as much, and the fight is going on somewhere up there.
On the one hand, I'll lose steady income and benefits (which don't me any good if I go over the edge again and do myself in), and perhaps some kind of status. On the other hand, the potential to exist outside of the Army is there - but if I am to get out, I would like to choose the method of my discharge. I do not want to be thrown out on my ear with no benefits just because somebody doesn't want to wait on a medical discharge and possible PTSD diagnosis.
So, besides everything else, even if I ain't doin diddly on Paradice Net right now, Muzikman is... here's some links to his latest work...
