Protect your kids!
Jul. 22nd, 2006 03:40 amParadice Net is back up...along with a slightly seperate, new forum: Paradice.net Forum :D
About 1400 posts of content is commmon to both forums (the one in Postnuke and the new one), but the number of uncommon posts will be increasing sharply... I couldn't just keep sleeping last night, so....moving right on to the fourth political post (of 7 thusfar)...
To protect our children: I've often why PTSD and other psychological problems associated with 'traumatic events' (like war), are becoming more and more prevailent. War has become much easier, as the only Americans alive today who could stomach the conditions of WWII are that war's veterans. Vietnam's conditions pale in comparison, and Iraq pales to Vietnam. But, veterans are more emotionally disturbed than before? We're just not being made as tough as we used to be.
Next point: There are groups out there that would like social networks such as MySpace, LiveJournal, JournalSpace, and even the places you never heard of because I don't have an account there; taken down due to the 'fact' that these sites are a playground for sexual predators.
Point #3: Kids are not allowed to hit one another, and parents are not allowed to hit their kids, on pain of losing their kids and possibly going to jail - sometimes even in the case of frivolous complaints.
The law should be clarified for kids in regards to how they are affected by it - if you want to hear someone else who has very similar views (expressed much less dryly), listen to George Carlin.
