Considering that the powder keg is set up for a very confusing WWIII, my guess is that within the next year, the world will be an unspeakably violent place where dangerous nationalism becomes a mode of survival. I don't know what part I'll play, and right now, even with the situation in Lebanon, most other countries are trying to let that war flame out on it's own. Most others.

Work for this weekend includes:
1/5 tracks recorded
1/2 websites fixed (Paradice Net is back up!)
1/1 Silo 17 sessions played (granted, it was the following Thursday, a few days late...)
6/6 political posts posted (there were seven, but I did one in a two-for-one deal)

1 page tax plan:
Replace federal income tax with a sales tax. You are taxed on new items only - used items and food will not be taxed. This tax will be applied to all other services and items sold. The IRS's roll would be reduced to enforce a one page tax plan. A person effectively will be taxed on how much they spend. This will allow the following groups of people participate in funding all our goverment actions, domestic and abroad;
US citizens
US residents
Legal immigrants
Illegal immigrants
Welfare Boomer Families
Tourists
Foreign tourists
Terrorists
Invading Armies

In good news, a story is being written about me, fiction, of course; and possibly adult in content. I might link to it when it's done. In other news, I have a plan to save Paradice Net (as it was)... if it works, then great. If not, then the site may be hosed forever.

So, this being the second political post; here goes:

Create deflation by better managing how much cash goes into the markets. Inflation is taking place because money isn't being 'lost' like it used to be - but rather being recycled when it is converted into money electronically and the worn out bills returned. Cutting the production of the US Mints should make cash a little more scarce, and more valuable as a whole. Do it gradually, but counter inflation with this method, since money coming from the mints doesn't leave the market in the same nature that it used to.

There's more than one way to reduce the price of gas.

No witty title to get you thinking about something else....(and also my longest one yet....)

We are too focused on the tree, not on the forest. The source of the Gay Marriage Issue is relaxed tax code and joint rights of action (joint loans, bank accounts, legal stuff that married couples can do and unmarried couples, well, can't). So what do we do? Add civil liberties, religion and everyone's opinion to get confusion. Marriage exists for reasons other than saving taxes, or at least, one would hope.

The simplest solution is to redefine the process of marriage: make it a purely religious concern. Changing your name is something anyone can do - I know a few people who've adopted names completely different from what they were given at birth. To remove the monetary stigma of marriage, the financial temptations will need to go.

As for kids, married couples and their tax breaks, you may be able to notice that I've cleverly disguised my tax plan to address the financial issues of tax breaks for families. Yes - while tax breaks are very good (and many families depend on them for survival) - it means that the single people of the country have to make up the difference. Unless I'm in Iraq for over half of the year, I have to pay taxes. So I can get shot at and so that Joe Schmo with a spouse and kid (or three) can claim thousands of dollars in deductions from their taxes.

The reason why families are dependent on tax breaks is because that margin was created in the first place. If the margin didn't exist, then families wouldn't be addicted. It's a vicious circle, like military pay raises (I hate to admit) that needs to be stopped in one form or another. If (in accordance with the Mint Idea post) the dollar begins to experience deflation, then it can stand to reason that the military's pay can be adjusted for it, just like it gets adjusted for inflation.
