I found out today that I'll be becoming an Army recruiter. The choice I was given was take a $30,000 bonus plus other special pays per month and re-enlist for it, or get barred from re-enlistment, and some sort of discharge (I'm not sure that if you're barred from re-enlistment that you CAN get an honorable discharge).
Anyhow, most of my projects outside of the Army will be going on hold for a bit. I don't know what I'll be doing about leave, and other things, though. There will probably be a lapse of stuff on the website (like there was in January). I'm not to worried about it, overall. It's just one of those annoying things.
Aside from all of that, I've got to start planning and getting stuff ready to go. I've got a lot of baggage (literally, nine footlockers, god knows how many other bags and backpacks, and then all of my stuff. I'll probably drive to the location of the course, and drive back. Having a car with me is a good thing. Ack. Phone.
I'll finish writing this post later, should I actually get to it.
