For the veterans...

Veterans, young, old and young at heart are in your neighborhood. Some display their service at every opportunity, some try to do everything they can to hide it and/or forget. The reasons for either of these situations are as unique as the veterans themselves. There are as many reasons as there are people on this earth.
Please let them know that you appreiate your service. The news from Jordan this morning proves that you don't have to be American to be some kind of a target. But here within our borders, not everyone gets to see what happens on the outside personally.
To veterans everywhere, I, Louis Lamp, thank you for your service. Your collective heroism and intestinal fortitude inspired me to start serving six years ago. The veterans of today (my battle buddies) have inspired me to keep serving until my last sunset (or 20 years and a day, whichever happens first). Thank you!
Sincerely,
Louis Lamp
